About the Roots of War
The Roots of War is an alliance-type event of Call of Dragons. Only the alliances can participate in this event as a whole. The game mode is that two team alliances battle each other. The battle will be in a 30 vs 30 format.
This event is a complete test for all the Call of Dragons. A beginner or an experienced player doesn’t matter. This event gives everyone the same chance to win based on their planning.
This is an event that needs strong planning, management of resources, and teamwork. If you have all that, you will have a higher chance of completing the event.
Requirements to Join Roots of War Event
Like any event in Call of Dragons, Roots of War also has requirements for the players and alliances who want to join. These set the criteria so uninterested players do not participate, and only the interested ones get their benefits.
These requirements are primarily for the alliances. We have shared these alliance criteria below.
- The first requirement is that the alliance you comprise must be in the top 20 of the alliance power ranking when the event starts.
- The alliance should also have at least 20 alliance towers.
- You must be an alliance member before the Roots of War events start.
- We cannot switch to a new alliance during the event’s registration.
- Those who join an alliance after the registration starts cannot participate in the Roots of War event.
- Once the registration is over, no changes are allowed. So, the alliance leaders and officers should make all the arrangements on time.
- Players with over level 16 City Hall can participate in this event.
Player Management
Player management is a crucial part of the whole roots of war events. The alliance leader and officers will select the players for the event. A total of 30 players should be selected for the Roots of War.
However, along with the 30 participants, it is suggested that 10 substitutes be selected as well. There is the possibility that not all players will be able to participate in this event because of the requirements and unawareness. So your substitutes might get a chance to get additional participants along with the 30 players.
Important Aspects of Battle in Roots of War
You must win all the battles to complete the Root of War Call of Dragons event as the number 1 player. To win the battles in this event, the player has to know the 5 important aspects of the battle.
Those players who know these 5 important points will have a higher chance of completing the event and winning all the battles. We have discussed them below.
Time Management
The first part of the battle that the player has to be aware of during this event is time management. Every player only has 3 minutes to prepare before the gates are closed.
These three minutes are for strategizing and selecting the players and troops for the battle. During this time, you cannot do any activity to get points, like taking a building or deploying the troops. After these 3 minutes, you can send your troops for the battle.
Healing
Healing is crucial at the root of war events as our troops cannot die during the battle; instead, they will be sent to the Druid Hut for healing. All the wounded troops will be sent for healing, and there is no limit in the Druid Hut.
The player should keep the healing in mind, as well as the use of healing as per his point’s difference from other players. If there is a huge difference between the points, you shouldn’t send the troops for healing; however, in case of a small difference, you can heal the troops and send them to battle for some extra points.
Field View
The Call of Dragons Roots of War Map is all foggy. You will not see any enemy on the map until he is close to you, and neither are your alliance members. So, sometimes, it becomes difficult to make an instant attack.
To cope with this issue, all the alliance members must communicate. As any player sees enemies, he must let his alliance members know. You can see your alliance member and their field view. You can also see if they are coming close to an enemy or not. In short, strong teamwork is required to deal with the field visual problem.
Behemoths
We can also summon our behemoth during the battle in the Roots of War bundle Call of Dragons event. The process will resemble other battles we play in Call of Dragons. Every alliance can spawn his behemoth three times during the battle.
Only the beast master can spawn the behemoths. The behemoths will also appear near the Beastmaster’s camp, which he controls during battles.
Battle Sync
You should know battle sync, which will upgrade all your heroes to the maximum level. This level-up is only for roots of war events, and your main game will not be affected. The battle sync will also affect the artifact level.
Active battle sync will also help you configure the talent tree. We can also import the talent tree from the main game. We can customize the Call of Dragons Talent Tree if the generic talent tree isn’t giving the hero the full potential.
How to Get Scores in Roots of War?
The winner of Roots of War is decided based on the points he earns throughout the event. So, as a player, you should focus on getting as many points as possible. Below, we have shared some ways to get these points in this game.
- By occupying a building, the alliance gets scores. The player who occupies the building will also get some additional individual scores.
- Suppose your building is under attack, so for each minute you manage to defend your building, you will earn points. So, have multiple buildings and defend them when needed.
- The player will get individual scores by defeating units in Roots of War events. This score will not be shared among the alliance members.
- When you bring the troops after they gather back to the city, the Lunambrite Pool will give you individual and alliance points.
Lifestone
Limestone is a source of score in Roots of War that needs some explanation. During the event, this special item will appear on the map. The players have to deliver this stone to their control or neutral building. This will give us a lot of alliance points.
The number of points we get will increase with every successful delivery. However, only the flying units can pick the Lifestone. So make sure to use the best-flying heroes with the best artifacts equipped to make your delivery fast.
Rewards of Roots of War
The rewards of Roots of War are insane. Especially if you are a free-to-play player, these rewards will be very helpful for your gameplay. The best reward among all the ones we get is legendary tokens.
If we get to 10,000 individual points and our alliance wins the event, we will get 10 legendary tokens. However, if the alliance loses but still has 10,000 individual points, we will get 5 legendary tokens. Some other prizes we might win are.
